Ozeri Pedometer Review

If like me, you love walking and want a really lightweight easy to use pedometer to track your steps and calories then this pedometer is perfect. It is lightweight so it fits in your pocket or rucksack without you even noticing you have it and it is ready to use straight out of the box. It combines a calendar, clock and pedometer so great for replacing a watch or an iPhone app that would usually do this.
To be honest I didn't even look at the instructions. I just pressed mode and set straight away started putting in the day, month and year which was really easy.
This pedometer is a great exercise tool that tracks the total number of steps you take and the totla time you spend walking along with the distance you walk and calories you burn. The pedometer's motion sensor is optimised to detect steps while walking. The data is tracked daily and the daily memory is automatically reset at midnight. Even though it is reset at midnight, the pedometer will still add each day's data to the total memory accumulating data for 7 days so it is great if you are on a walking holiday or have a set target for the week.
The pedometer is powered by a Lithium battery that comes with it. It turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity t preserve the battery life.
The pedometer will start counting steps once it detects motion in about 13 steps.

To set your calendar:
Switch to calendar screen by pressing SET three times. From the calendar screen then hold set for 2 seconds. This will with the pedometer to setup mode. Then you can set your weight (40-350lb to 20-150kg), stride (to measure this see stride*), followed by calendar, date and time functions. Use the up and down buttons to make adjustments. When you have finished press SET briefly.

MODE KEY: This scrolls through your steps, calories, distance, time and average speed.
SET KEY: The set key is for scrolling through total steps, calendar mode, today's steps and today's mode. You can press down the SET key for 2 seconds to light up the LED light if it is dark, it lasts 8 seconds.
TO SET YOUR STRIDE*: To set your stride walk ten steps noting your start and end position. So if over ten steps you have walked 330 inches then divide it by ten to get your average stride, so it would be 33 inches. You then enter this when you do setup, see above.
This is showing how many minutes I have been walking.

This shows how many steps I have taken.

This shows how many calories I have burned. (It is more honest then any other pedometer I have had and I have to work very hard to burn them!

This is how any miles I have walked.

This shows how many miles per hour.
On the bottom left you can keep track of the time so you don't need to bring a watch
out with you and on the bottom right it tells you the date.

In a nutshell, this is what this pedometer does:
  • Records steps, distance, speed, calories and time with the world's most advanced Tri-Axis technology.
